Della in Cambridge

I took Della to Cambridge to visit Gran Helen last weekend. She had a lovely time catching up with Gran Helen, Miffy and the Sesame Street singing books. We visited the park, saw some swans and also spoke to Ben, Emily and Bluet, with much of that conversation taking place while Della and Bluet had toy rabbits on their heads, see below... Here are a couple of pics and a video of Della going round and round and round.

Bonfire night

It was bonfire night this week. We always celebrate - I think this has something to do with Simons love of fire and all things a little bit explodey. You also really can't beat standing around all bundled up keeping warm in front of a fire.

This year we got bundled up...

Della has a dressing up box. Every now and again she likes to open it up and just go crazy...

Della plays

Della is mainly into playing games at the minute. Although snap is a firm favourite she also enjoys this shopping game where we all have a list and a shopping trolly and we have to fill our baskets. She is very good. Although the following film is quite long I thought some of you blog fans would enjoy watching it. Highlights include:

• Chatting about the game
• Gordon actually playing the game himself
• Daddy get a sticker for being a good boy and going to work
• Gordon getting the priviledge of looking at the gruffalo wellies
• Della generally forgetting the camera is on her - a rare treat to see her totally at ease and herself.
