What?
It may have only taken nine and a half months but Gus eventually has his first tooth. I don't have a photo as he won't let me anywhere near it (daddy and Della on the other hand can poke away at it as much as they like).
Here are some cute photos of him and Della playing camping though...

Bootsale
We have so much 'stuff' in our house. In a bid to try and start clearing before work starts we have been gathering the things we don't use (or don't fit the children any more) ready for the first Sunday we are a) at home b) don't have visitors and c) the weather is ok ready to have a bootsale. Today was the day. Simon stayed at home with Gus (as there wasn't enough space in the car for all of us and our 'stuff') and I took della off to the bootsale to sell really doors.
Della was very very excited to sit in the front seat - this has never happened before and although it legal we have avoided it as she would then want to be in the front for every trip!
Although it was tough getting sorted with Della wanting to play she was mainly engaged in real life playing shops - she was on bag and money dury.
We arrived at 7am and left just before 1pm. Not a bad effort and we only returned with about a third of our 'stuff' which will be saved to go with all the new 'stuff' ready for the next one - it may even find a small holiday!
In the front seat!

Another day, another Dalby
With our yearly membership Dalby is part of our life. This time we went midweek. Without daddy! This is in a bid to make the most of my last free midweek days before Della starts school and we are restricted to educational timetables for our trips, visits and holidays!
We did however go with friends Edith and Olivia. We took bikes, raced, ran and played.
When we got home we had a brief catch up with Granda Andrew and Maria as they travelled through York.
Then Mammy and Daddy had fish and chips after everyone eventually fell asleep!

Happy birthday GranAnne
Today is GranAnnes 60th birthday. To wish her happy birthday we went up last weekend. We organised a surprise trip with cousin Ethan and Ellis to Hill End. This is a place we used to go a lot when we were children with all of our cousins.
We had a great time building dams, climbing hills and throwing pine cones.

The beach
Here are a few photos from the actual beach, but mainly rock pools from our trip to Robin Hoods Bay!
Minions and other things
While we had some childcare we took advantage and took Della to see the minions film. She finds them hilarious and the film wasn't bad - Della laughed a lot although also found some of it a tad scary.
Note: the amazing minions dress was in the sale at Asda!
Meet the bobs
Whil in Durham last weekend della, at last, got to go fishing. She has been asking to do this for a while. I think it might be because she fed the fish in the sea on holiday. Granda took her with her new net she got in Robin Hoods Bay.
Amazingly she caught lots, although they were tiny!
Northumberlandia
This is an old slag heap. Transformed into a large naked lady you can walk around. It was windy but great.
