Della's birthday party

On Sunday it was Della's birthday party. A mere 28 children (and their parents and a few siblings) came to her party. These were all the people could think of to invite (!) and we did not think they would come. However, the lure of a jungle book party and a very convienient time meant that it was packed! 

We had a bouncy castle, party games (pass the parcel and musical statues obviously) and a birthday tea with home made jungle book cake! 

It was crazy, but memorable! 

Della's birthday

On Della's actual we birthday we took our yearly pilgrimage to Scarborough to play on the beach and celebrate the turning of another year. Although it was sunny, it was windy. 

We needed the beach tent to protect us from the wind! 

After play we went for fish and chips. We found a glamourous spot on a step to eat... 

Then onwards for arcade fun! 

The ice cream for us and blue candy floss for the birthday girl! 

Happy 4th birthday della

Yesterday Della turned 4 years old. Yesterday we went to the beach, today was her party. Here are just a couple of photos before a proper update...

On Sunday we went to Della's friends 4th birthday party. It was Abbie's birthday, her best friend (as much as you have a best friend at 4 years old!). It was intense (28 children I think) but lots of fun!

More Dalby

We've been to Dalby a few times this year already and have more plans to go so we have bought an annual pass. Exciting! 

Last time we played in the middle of the forest with fewer people around and a river for plodging in. We also had a lovely picnic and played cricket (of sorts) 

Fun time Monday

For a change and to make the most of our time before Della starts at school and I finish maternity leave we went to Piglets on Monday. This is a close by farm and play centre which somehow I've managed to avoid until now! 

It was great and we managed to stay there over 5 hours somehow!
