Le grand depart

Yesterday le Tour de France started in York. On Saturday the red arrows flew down our street with impressive plooms and a few minutes later we saw them on the tv at hare wood house in Leeds. It was impressive!

We set off for town with della singing a song written by granda on Saturday but with her own words!
 

 

We decided to stand at Clifford's tower as there was a bit of a hill . It was very full. 

Where we were on the telly...

 

We then went to bishy rd (renamed bishy rue for the day) where the road was closed and there was a street party

Then to rowntree park for more fun

Today the tour goes to Cambridge to see gran Helen
