I woke to find Della in the bathroom at about 6am struggling with her Christmas onesie. At this point she informed me that says had been and she had started opening her stocking in bed. Gus then woke and we all crawled into our bed for sticking opening. Gus managed to find a chocolate Santa and eat it before even milk!
Della was pleased with her stocking and was happy that the contents were all she was getting for Christmas. So when we went down stairs and discovered Santa shaped footprints in the hall and a hoard of gifts in the living room she was thrilled - and actually very grateful.
The star of the show was the reindeer!
