Della was very excited by it so after preschool we got bundled up and headed to our favourite event (the one that me and Simon first ever went to together). Della has had such a busy couple of weeks she is constantly tired at the minute so we knew we wouldn't be there long but Gus was in the sling all snuggly so we gave it a go. We arrived before the queues started, watched the fire being lit, had exciting sparklers (giving them out to children who didn't have any) and stayed until the fireworks started.
Then the cold kicked in and we headed home. It was fun!
