Haloweening

Recently, Della is not a fan of scary things. Therefore we thought haloween might be a wash out. We were wrong. Her friend Abbie from preschool ( who lives just opposite us) asked her if they could go out together which she jumped on. Della decided to go as a dancer and Abbie as a rainbow butterfly (she too is not a fan of the scary). 

We set off at 5.30 and it was lovely to see so many families out walking the streets together - turns out I have actively made friends with so many of the people who live close to is too it made it feel like we very much live in a community now which was lovely. 

The girls enthusiastically knocked on all the doors where a pumpkin was outside and collected quite a stash of sweeties. 

We managed to float in and out of other family groups out doing the same as us and had a thoroughly lovely time - we also realised that poor Gus will probably spend much of his live being dragged around after della!
