Last week Della's school did a full week on sustainability. This involved lots of discussions not only about renewable energy but also food miles and child labour which was an interesting discussion with Della about who makes our clothes and how old they are. She didn't see five years olds crafting her clothes as that much of a problem I don't think. if anything I could see that she wanted to give it a go herself.
As part of this they also met some animals who help maintain habitats. Here is Dellas take on stick insects - this was mounted on the wall as an example of good work.
